Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis : Pengaruh Kompetensi SDM dan Karakteristik Individu Terhadap Efektifitas Kerja Pegawai di Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang Kabupaten Pasaman Barat.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah PNS yang ada di Dinas PUPR Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Metode sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh,yang berarti teknik pengambilan sampel dimana seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 69 sampel. Hasil penelitian ini menentukan bahwa: variabel kompetensi SDM berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efektifitas kerja pegawai dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,630, nilai t 6,448,dan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 (<0,05). Variabel karakteristik Individu berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap efektifitas kerja pegawai, dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,295, nilai t 2,958 dan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,004 (<0,05).Variabel independent secara bersamaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Efektifitas Kerja Pegawai dengan nilai koefisien regresi 404,090 dengan tingkat signifikan sebesar 0,000 (<0,05). Nilai koefisien determinasi menunjukkan nilai sebesar 92,5% sedangkan sisa nya sebesar 7,5%, dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diikut sertakan dalam penelitian ini. Alat pengolahan data yaitu SPSS versi 25.0

This research aims to identify and analyze: The influenice of Human Resource Competence and Individual Characteristics on Employee Work Effectiveness at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Pasaman Barat Regency. This study uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. The population in this study is civil servants at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Pasaman Barat Regency. The sampling method used is saturation sampling,which means a sampling technique where the entire population is used as a sample. The number of samples in this study is 69 samples. The results of this study determine that: the variable of human resource competence has a positive and significant effect on employee work effectiveness wvith a coefficient value of 0.630, a t value of 6.448, and a significant value of 0.000 (<0.05). The variable of individual characteristics has a positive and significant effect on employee work effectiveness, with a coefficient value of 0.295, a t value of 2.958,and a significant value of 0.004(<0.05).The independent variables collectively have a positive and significant effect on employee work effectiveness with a regression coefficient value of 404.090 and a significance level of 0.000 (<0.05). The coefficient of determination shows a value of 92.5%, while the remaining 7.5% is influenced by other variables not included in this study. The data processing tool used is SPSS version 25.0.
