Dengan menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif. Setelah terlewatinya proses di peradilan umum maka proses selanjutnya yang dilewati oleh terdakwa anggota kepolisian yang melakukan tindak pidana adalah bentuk penegakan kode etik profesi Polri. Dalam penegakan kode etik ini yang memiliki peran adalah Propam Polri selaku yang membidangi sesuai dengan Peraturan Kepolisian Nomor 7 Tahun 2022 tentang kode etik profesi dan komisi kode etik Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia.Penyalahgunaan kewenangan yang dilakukan oleh anggota Polri merupakan salah satu pelanggaran kode etik profesi polri. Penulisan skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui untuk mengetahui relasi pelanggaran kode etik dan pelanggaran hukum dalam kasus tindak pidana yang dilakukan oleh anggota polri dan bagaimana penegakan kode etik dalam kasus tindak pidana yang dilakukan oleh anggota polri. Tujuan penelitian ini.untuk mengetahui penyelesaian pelanggaran kode etik profesi bagi anggota kepolisian yang melakukan tindak pidana, dan untuk mengetahui bentuk sanksi terhadap anggota Polri yang melakukan tindakpidana pelanggaran kode etik di Polres Pasaman Barat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian hukum empiris.Penclitian Hukum Empiris adalah suatu mctode penclitian hukum yang menggunakan fakta-fakta empiris yang diambil dari perilaku manusia, baik perilaku verbal yang didapat dari wawancara maupun perilaku nyata yang dilakukan melalui pengamatan langsung.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pelanggaran kode etik profesi bagi anggota kepolisian, yang melakukan tindak pidana meliputi penerima laporan, pemeriksaan,sidang disiplin, putusan sidang, banding, putusan banding, peninjauan kembali, putusan peninjauan kembali. Adapun bentuk sanksi terhadap anggota Polri yang melakukan tindak pidana pelanggaran kode etik mencakup pelanggaran terhadap etika kenegaraan, etika kelembagaan, etika. kemasyarakatan dan etika kepribadian.Sedangkan sanksi pelanggaran yang dijatuhkan yaitu mutasi bersifat demosi,penundaan kenaikan pangkat, penundaan pendidikan, pemberhentian dengan hormat (PDH) dan pemberhentian tidak dengan hormat (PTDH) dan berbagai hambatan bagi pemeriksaan dalam proses penegakan kode etik profesi Polri. In the enforcement of this code of ethics,the role is the Propam Police as the one in charge of in accordance with Police Regulation Number 7 of 2022 concerning the professional code of ethics and the code of ethics commission of the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia.The abuse of authority carried out by members of the National Police is one of the violations of the police professional code of ethics. The purpose of writing this thesis is to find out the relationship betwveen violations of the code of ethics and violations of the law in cases of crimes committed by members of the National Police and how to enforce the code of ethics in cases of crimes committed by members of the National Police. The purpose of this study is to find out the settlement of violations of the professional code of ethics for police members who commit criminal acts , and to find out the form of sanctions against members of the National Police who commit criminal acts of violating the code of ethics at the West Pasaman Police. The type of research used in this study is empirical law research. Empirical Law Research is a legal research method that uses empirical facts taken from human behavior, both verbal behavior obtained from interviews and real behavior carried out through direct observation. The results of this study show that violations of the professional code of ethics for police members , who commit criminal acts include the recipient of reports, examinations, disciplinary hearings, court decisions, appeals, appeal decisions, review decisions, review decisions. The forms of sanctions against members of the National Police who commit criminal acts of violating the code of ethics include violations of state ethics,institutional ethics, community ethics and ethics personality. Meanwhile, the sanctions for violations imposed are mutations in the form of demotion,postponement of promotion, postponement of education, dismissal with respect (PDH) and dismissal without respect (PTDH) and various obstacles to the examination in the process of enforcing the Police professional code of ethics.
